Take the Edge off of Stress with Herbs

Herb advice for relieving stress

As a herbalist I often concoct formulas for patients for anxiety and stress, mixing several specific ingredients that can work together to help them in my office pharmacy; these are based on their needs and my evaluation. There are certainly some singular herbs you can use on your own that may help take the edge off.  Some of my favorites are:

  1. Lavender and Geranium which is very soothing in a bath; don’t forget the relaxing music. 
  2. Chamomile tea with 2 slices of fresh ginger on the porch watching the horizon while taking in the fresh air. 
  3. Taking a stroll eating some frozen organic yogurt with added fresh berries sprinkled with cinnamon.
